Rice Family Gathering - Jesse's Birthday Celebration

We had lots to celebrate on this beautiful summer day at the Rice house. Bob's brother, Richard, visiting from Virginia and Jesse turning 20! It's always great when we can get the whole family together. Another successful party hosted by Bob & Julie. :-)

Easter 2009 with the Rice Family

This year Bob and I put on a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their Easter Baskets (see the video below the photo album).
After that it was off to the back yard to see what the Easter Bunny left. We topped the day off with an Easter Brunch at Glen & Diane's with the extended Rice Family. Hope you all had a fabulous day!

Observing October

October came in with the first wind storm of the season. Bob had to go out and cut a big dangling branch off of a tree in our backyard. He rescued my bench too, which later was moved to our back porch for safe keeping.		We had a belated birthday celebration for Jesse. He was gone most of the summer feeding the fire fighters in Oregon and California... so we were not able to celebrate his birthday in August.
Amanda made it onto the Dance Theatrics Junior Company at Barclay Shelton Dance Centre in Edmonds. When she is at rehearsal... Austin and I go for walks in Edmonds.		Bob, Austin, and I went to the pumpkin patch in Snohomish.
Then, we had some pumpkin carving fun with Amanda and Austin.		Halloween was fun at the Rice house. I decorated our front walk and doorstep for the trick-or-treaters. check out the kids costumes. We had some fun visitors too.
