Awesome April!!

The kids had the day off from school so mom and dad decided to play hooky and hang with the kids. We all went down to Seattle and spent the day at the Pacific Science Center!! Our favorite exhibit was the Butterfly House. See the full album HERE.

The next weekend we had 85 degree weather only to have it snow big time the weekend after that. Be sure to check out the April Snow album.

It's April 18 and it's snowing? Will my poor new spring plantings ever get a break? And we thought it was weird when it's snowed at the end of March. To see all the photos and some very entertaining videos... click HERE to view them all!!!

March Madness

Marching into spring we were...

• Our first stop,
  Amanda Spring Choral Concert with the Ike School Choir.
• 2nd stop, we had fun celebrating at La Hacienda for Trenton's birthday (Amanda's friend).
• Next stop, Saint Patrick's Day where our St. Patty's girl Amanda shows her Irish spirit and Austin chased some Leprachauns.
• Then we have an aweful lot of Easter fun for you to check out. I also got some gardening in and was able to plant some new spring flowers.
• But our next set of photos will show how it snowed the next weekend it's snowed like crazy and crushed and froze the poor darlings!! The snow melted a little just in time to celebrated Erika's birthday.
• You can see that all of this excitement makes Mango the cat very tired. It his his job to hold up the walls in the house. :-) Speaking of cats... Reggie has a job too... fetching my print jobs. :-)

Fabulous February (2008)

Well - lots of fun was had in February (as usual). Amanda and some fellow dancers performed at Austin's school for their High School Musical fun night. Of course there was Valentine's Day. Let's not forget some birthday fun. I celebrated with my friend Claudia and then of course... we celebrated with our girl, Amanda. Be sure to check out her birthday photo album. And of course, Austin got all the boyz out on the basketball court. Enjoy the very fun video footage I captured of that! Amanda's 13th Birthday

This year Amanda turned 13. She is very thrilled to be an official teenager. But no worries for mom and dad. We are very proud of this amazing girl. She gets excellent grades, is a very talented actress, singer, and dancer, and above all is kind and compasionate (unless her little brother is pestering her - then it's a slightly different dynamic). Check out all the fun we had celebrating her big milestone birthday....

Tribute to the Shredders

Austin had a great time playing basketball on the Everett Parks and Recreation league this year. His team was brand new to the league and they did a great job.

A fun birthday celebration with friends

My friend Claudia celebrated her 43rd birthday with a very fun gathering at 88 Keys in Seattle. If you have never been to a dualing piano bar before, you need to put that adventure on your bucket list. I have been to two and 88 Keys was a perfect venue for a celebration. One of the highlights of the night was when Claudia's husband and friends announced that one of her birthday presents was a cruise with Rick Springfield. She loves Rick Springfield. You can bet we were requesting some of his songs that night. Congrats Claudia and have fun in November with Rick and your gal pals. If I win the Mega Millions, I will join you and bring Mary too!!

Austin's Basketball Highlights - Game 7

Look out grey team. Here come the shredders and they're ready to rumble!! And, they succeeded - 34 to 26. Way to go Shredders!!

Applause Studio at Austin's High School Musical Event

In February, Austin's school had a "High School Musical" fun night. Amanda, along with some fellow Applause Studio dancers, performed a dance from the movie and then taught it to all the kids. They then all performed it together. They all did very well! Check it out!!!
