Show-A-Thon 2008 - Applause Studio Annual Fundraiser
Applause Studio does it again. Our Youth Parent Organization (YPO) and all the talented students put on a 6-hours show at the Everett Mall to raise money for its Performing Arts programs. Hooray!!
Amanda performed of course, but instead of me performing as well... it was Bob. However, I worked behind the scenes as the volunteer and fundraiser coordinator. I am happy to announce that we raised more than our goal this year. Whoo hoo!!!

Austin's Basketball Birthday Party
This year, we rented out the YMCA gym for Austin's birthday party. He and his pals had the whole facility to themselves. They worked up an appetite for sure. How do you like the cake that Austin and I made. We were very pleased with how it came out. Press play on the image below to see all the fun!

The Bobcat in our back yard
Third times a charm... i finally caught this beautiful creature on one of it's frequent strolls through our back yard. Read about my story on KOMO News.... http://www.komonews.com/younews/31108294.html
Ringing in the New Year at the Rice House
This is how we spent New Year's Eve. The kids banged pots and pans and Bob played a mean, screaming version of auld lang syne on his guitar. And of course, I was running around with my camera capturing it all.
